Young players in the program receive individualized coaching, group teaching, and game practice. In a friendly and secure setting, they pick up the principles of horsemanship and the fundamentals of polo. Depending on the players' age and degree of expertise, junior teaching is broken down into levels.
The levels include:
Junior players, or rookie riders or players, ages 8 to 9 make up the leadline group during the walk/trot. Players are supervised by an adult and the pony is guided by a leadline until they are able to handle it on their own.Junior athletes aged 9 and above, or those who can handle their pony at a trot and a gentle canter, belong to the intermediate group.
Advanced Group: Players with at least 2 years of experience, who can play at a canter.
Every Saturday from 9:00 am to 10:30 am, Junior Polo will be offered. Participants must arrive at least 15 minutes early for their lesson time, and waivers must be signed by a parent or guardian before the class. The junior players who bring their own pony receive special savings.
Group reservations and special junior events, such as birthday parties, are also eligible for discounts.
